What happens to your life after unemployment runs out?

no jobs where i live but the one that decided to merge and lay off about 2/3 of their workforce. What happens after my unemployment runs out. How will my life change. I've always been a worker but the next best job around here is working part time as a cashier at a convenience store making 7.75/hr 20 hours a week to finance a home, car, and daily living expenses. How does america survive under these conditions. What happens to your life after unemployment runs out?
America does not give up,,,,

You face tough decisions.

Take whatever job you can get for now because you will always find a better job when you are working, or you could work your way into your own convenience store. Working retail is a great way to meet new job contacts.

Try starting your own business, many have done just that during hard times. Start cleaning windows, picking up dog crap, running errands, steam cleaning driveways, painting. What ever you can do and make a business out of it. That is the American way.

How about moving to a more prosperous location. Do not put limitations on yourself by staying in a no-job zone, go where the money is.

Or just ride the welfare train like obama wants you to do.

The longer you stay unemployed the harder it is to start working again.

I have been fired and lost everything, started my own business twice and lost everything again, moved to another city, tried and kept trying. Now I have a successful transmission business. What happens to your life after unemployment runs out?
Pack up and leave your country for America, the land of opportunity, errr..... sorry.... :(

Many have adjusted by reducing their personal debt by selling the auto, moving in with family and living by bartering labor for food.

Others have adjusted by going on welfare and food stamps.

There is always hope, in some religions losing hope is actually a sin, so keep that in mind. Never equate having money in hand as being a success, so think of ways (out side the box) of making lemonaide.
ever thought that part time can lead into full time and a possible management position ? Never think you are above any job that pays you money when the jobs are limited.
