There are many different immigration classes to come to Canada and you don't need to have a college degree but you do need specific work experience.

The official immigration website is: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/index.asp

One way that somebody already mentioned is immigrating as a federal skilled worker. You would need education and work experience, there is a points system you have to qualify under. Then you can apply for permanent residency right away from your home country but it can take up to several years to get it depending on where you live.

Another way is provincial nominee programs, see http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/p The different provinces have different immigration classes. If you have family in Alberta or Manitoba, you could qualify for family stream. If you don't have job training to apply to any province as a skilled worker, Alberta and BC also offer semi-skilled immigration class where you can get in for a job as a kitchen helper or hotel cleaner, provided you have experience. You would just need a job offer for one of the jobs on their list and you would get the work permit pretty fast and would be able to get permanent resident status most likely within a year.

Another way, if you have experience in caring for children, disabled or elderly is getting a temporary work permit as a live-in-caregiver, see http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/caregi and you would qualify for permanent residency after 2 years.

I don't know much about the immigration laws of both countries, but both are great places. Stockholm is the most underrated city I know, nobody goes there, but it's fantastic in the summer time. Be prepared for the cold in both places, though. Also, if you want to immigrate to Sweden, I hope you can at least spell Sverige (Sweden in Swedish), even if you can't spell Sweden in English. It might help.
It depends on where you're from....
For Canada you must have a college degree and a minimum of 12 months work experience in the field of the degree. Then you can apply as a skilled worker.

I have no idea what Sweden requires.
