How does sex change your life forever?

My mom goes on about waiting to have sex because it changes your life and the way you see things. Personally I don't know how it would change anything... I know I sound naive, but I'm asking an honest question. How does sex supposedly change your life forever?

not really physicially (unless you get pregnant or have an abortion) But more emotional than anything. it follows you the rest of your life. seriously, believe me it does change the rest of your life, especially if it ends badly. when you have that kind of relationship with someone, you become attached, and when you break up, that follows you for the rest of your life. you're giving a part of yourself away. its like, imagine a piece of tape. this reresents you. if you stick the tape on 10 people before you stick it on you husband or wife, its not as sticky anymore because its ';stuck'; around; it falls off. you know.





its not something that you can ever get back. once its done its done. i mean it can take 5 minutes for you to lose your virginity, but not even 5 million years to take it back.\





its hard to explain, but it just does. mistakes happen and thats okay, but just know the consequences willl follow you.How does sex change your life forever?
Remember when you had your first kiss; you felt good, didn't you? I'm assuming you've been kissed or have kissed. Anyway, sex like that first kiss is something that - as someone mentioned - becomes an addiction. Your mom says wait until you're married - all mother's say that; it's their job to say that. Can you imagine a mother saying, ';Mary go out and get yourself laid, I'm telling you it's fantastic, and your world will change!'; You'll ask, ';How will my life change Mom?'; ';It'll change because you'll finally understand that men and boys, are only interested in one thing and therefore you'll see men for what they really are. But then again - perhaps you should wait until you're married dear.';
Well, there is a chance that when you have sex that you will get pregnant and that will for sure change you life, pro-life or pro-choice, you would still have to deal with the fact that you have a human growing in you, there is also a chance of contracting an STD which could also change your life.





Sex is also emotional as well as physical, if your partner dumps you shortly after you have sex you would possibly feel used and that feeling that you lost your virginity to someone who never cared about you can be devastating
It can, but then agian your right, it cant. Trust me you want to save it for someone who you know YOU can trust, dont just fall into it like I did. You get hurt that way. I never had a mom to tell me all that, so you should be lucky really she's prob telling you to protect you and your heart. I mean sex feels good, but what people forget it that sometimes you get so caught up in the moment, and it's later that messes with you..








That's when your feelings kick in.








So save it, for someone you trust, save it for when it feels right in your heart. Trust me, I've been there.
I would not say it changes. I would say it affects your life. It all depends on what you want in your life. If you want to have a strong marriage, then not having sex prior to it, can help a BIG time. On the other hand, if you don't care, then why not to have sex with as many as you want and when you want. Your choice.
There is nothing wrong with sex, its a natural part of growing up. But if you have enough of it, it will lead you to view it as a casual thing, not so much as an intimate thing. By college most people see it as a rather casual activity. and personally I think that's healthy. If you make sex out to be more then it is, you'll stump your own development.
I've heard that too. I've heard that when someone has sex they act different and see things different.





And that some people can tell whether or not someone is a virgin, just by the way they talk and act. Some say, its even how they just walk.





(Yeah. I knew this dude for a while who liked virgins. And bragged about how he could usually spot a virgin immediately when meeting girls.)





I guess that's what they mean when people say loosing your virginity is ';loosing your innocence';





My guess would be that means you just loose that innocent nature about your personality.

personal opinion: i would much rather fall inlove with a girl who was a virgin than a girl who has expierenced another man. why? because i want to be the guy that she shares that memory with. you allways remember your first.
It's a begining of a new life. A sex life, opens many doors, in a good and bad way. Wait til marriage. You always want your first time to be special. And you will know what she means when it will happen. Just don't get to curious..

Okay....A lot of things could happen Pregnancy(condoms don't always work ya know..) which leads to a whole bunch of mess if your not married and financially stable.STDs which you could die from. and it would just be smart to wait..listen to your mother..

Sex is addicting, once you start, you won't stop.
