Name 3 life changing situations that you have been through and how did it change your life?

Mine would be:

1. Hurricane Katrina- Im from New Olreans and i lost everything in that storm. I understand the importance of life and how you shouldnt cherish material things.

2. When i got a divorce- I didnt know i was such a bad wife until my ex finally open his mouth and my eyes. I think about other feelings before i do things.

3. When i moved out the housing project- I didnt know that the world had so much to offer. I was stuck in that situation without a choice. From that day forward i wanted to make sure my life had meaning.Name 3 life changing situations that you have been through and how did it change your life?
1. surviving sexual abuse. it took me too many years to realize its not who i am but what made me into who i am today.

2. my parents divorce crumbled every perception of what i thought life was about. it made my beliefs change about so many things, but i still believe.

3. having my own family has made me realize that having a family carries a lot of responsibility. you aren't ever perfect and that raising children is the hardest/most important job i'll ever have. it made me realize my parents were just human.Name 3 life changing situations that you have been through and how did it change your life?
1. Losing my little brother. I honeslty didn't think that could happen to my family, now I live my life in constant paranoia thinking that one day I could lose a child.

2. Having a child.... for obvious reasons, they take everything and give nothing, but you love them anyway

3. Getting married and divorced ......Realized how much I cannot stand living in the same household as another person in that respect (he thought he controlled everything)
When I farted and crap came out.

When I farted in church recieving communion.

When I lit my fart on fire and all my a s s hair burned off.
1. Over the last 7 years I have lost about 30 people close to me. ~ All of these deaths have shown me that no matter what time, what age, how successful or not, whether you're ready or not it can happen to anyone so cherish life while you are here experiencing it.

2. Moving away from mom in November 2006 ~ Although my mom and I were always close moving away from her showed me a new perspective of her being my mom.. she wasnt there everday to fix all my problems... instead she was 3.5 hours away. It taught me to appreciate her and the situations that she went through trying to raise me %26amp; my brother!

3. Starting College to become a medical assistant ~ I work full time during the day %26amp; I go to college at night... my weeks are exhausting and sometimes I feel like I wanna give up... however I am not just an adult who goes to work to pay the bills anymore... now I am an adult who goes to work to pay the bills and who is a student at night struggling to make ends meet. I've learned to appreciate all the hardworking people in life that have nothing and build something out of scraps. :-)
to much to tell, gone and forgotten''
I'm only 24, but I've had a lot of life experience in such a short time...

1. College. I was the first person to go to college in my family and graduate. I didn't have anyone else in my family to look at as a role model that had already been in college. I had to figure everything out for myself.

2. Coming out of the closet at age 20 as a gay man.

3. Selling everything I own to move to NYC to start a new life.
